  3. Unfortunately, I was never a real big fan of Blue Eyes. He is an extremely powerful normal monster, I agree, but with all the traps and spell cards he is too easy to destroy. (Lord of D is extremely easy to destroy.) I love Armed Dragon; his effect is really good. This deck is based around 5 Headed Dragon.

    Monsters: 22

    Armed Dragon Lv3 x2

    Armed Dragon Lv5 x2

    Armed Dragon Lv7

    Twin Headed Behemoth

    Masked Dragon x3

    Luster Dragon x3

    Lord of D.

    Decoy Dragon

    Tyrant Dragon

    White Horned Dragon x2

    Mirage Dragon

    Snipe Hunter

    Jinzo

    Marshmallon

    Divine Dragon Ragnarok

    Spells: 12

    The Flute of Summoning Dragon

    Mystical Space Typhoon

    Stamping Destruction

    Heavy Storm

    Lightning Vortex

    Nobleman of Crossout

    Tribute to the Doomed

    Swrods of Revealing Light

    Wave Motion Cannon

    Monster Reborn

    Dragon's Mirror

    Polymerzation

    Traps: 10

    Draining Shield

    Trap Jammer

    Magic Jammer

    Judgment of Anubis

    Sakuretsu Armor

    Magic Cylinder

    Trap Hole

    Dragon's Rage

    Torrential Tribute

    Waboku

    Total: 44

    Fusion:

    5 Headed Dragon

    King Dragun

    Good Luck : ]

  4. Right, Blue eyes white dragon is the most common type of dragon deck avaliable and used.

It has its advantages: a massive beatstick, able to be protected (lord of d), easily summoned (paladin of white dragon, birthright, foolish burial + monster reborn / the creator), and able to become blue eyes ultimate dragon, with 4500 massive attack points.

There is a new dragon deck that summons the powerful monsters from the graveyard. (structure deck: rise of the dragon lords), which includes tyrant dragon (unaffected by trap cards, can attack twice if conditions are met), darkblaze dragon (summoned from the graveyard for 2400 attack points, and the ability to minus the attack points of the destroyed monster from the life points of your opponent), felgrand dragon (able to select a monster and use its level to increase its own attack points up to a whopping 4600 if a level 8 / 8 star monster is used).

Using powerful dragons requires sacrifices: such as weaker monsters.

However, in the structure deck, theres a dragon called decoy dragon, which if attacked, allows you to summon a lvl 7 or higher dragon type monster from the grave and re-direct the attack to that monster. easy prey hehehe.

I would suggest investing in the structure deck and modifying it for blue eyes capability: summoning the 3 monsters at easy costs.

cause lets face it: dragons are the most powerful beatsticks in the entire game XD

Cards to consider putting in the deck:

    the creator

    tyrant dragon

    darkblaze dragon

    3x blue eyes white dragon

    2 x lord of dragon

    2x luster dragon

    2/3 x decoy dragon

    2x paladin of white dragon

    spells:

    foolish burial

    polymerization / future fusion

    mausoleum of the emperor

    monster reborn

    premature burial

    tribute to the doomed

    traps:

    mirror force

birthright x 2 (to summon the blue eyes' back whilst lord of d is on the field, so they stay on the field even when birthright is destroyed)

    magic cylinder

malevolant catastrophe (wipe out all the spells in their turn and beat em down with dragons)

only a selection of cards i woud suggest putting in. ^^

  5. blue eyes deck

  6. I hope it is a low level tournament like a local because dragons cannot compete in a regional or higher level tournament. There are dragons that are awesome, but they are splashed into other decks. If you are still set on wanting to run dragons, Prime Material and Horus is the way to go.

    2 Horus lv 4

    2 Horus lv 6

    1 Horus lv 8

    1 Twin Headed behemoth

    3 Prime Material Dragon

    1 Sangan

    1 Spirit reaper

    1 Marshmallon

    1 Jinzo

    2 Gravekeeper's Spy

    1 Gravekeeper's guard

    3 exiled force

    1 Neospacian grand mole

    1 heavy storm

    1 mst

    1 monster reborn

    1 premature burial

    1 brain control

    3 soul exchange

    1 smashing ground

    1 fissure

    3 reckless greed

    3 solemn judgment

    1 mirror force

    1 torrential tribute

    1 trap dustshoot

    1 crush card virus

GB are the most played deck right now so the 3 exiled force are necessary to keep GB herakalinos off the field. To build a dragon deck doesn't mean to throw a bunch of dragons together, only focus on a few. I feel a deck like this one here is the best dragons can get. If dragons were meant to be played, they would be winning.

  7. I havent played yu-gi-oh for a few months but I did quite well at some of the tourneys I went to. I have put some forbidden cards in my deck now, but it still works if you take them out anyway. Im not sure about RECENT changes in rules!

    Normal Monsters:

    Divine Dragon Ragnarok X2

    Gene-Warped Warwolf X1

    Blue Eyes White Dragon X1

    Effect Monsters:

    Spirit Reaper X1                      - only 1 allowed

    Lord of D. X3

Magician of Faith X1                 - Forbidden

    Armed Dragon LV3 X2

    Armed Dragon LV5 X1

    Cyber Jar X1   - Forbidden

    Sangan X1                              - only 1 allowed

    Penguin Soldier X1

    Masked Dragon X2

    Twin-Headed Behemoth X1       - only 1 allowed

    Fusion Monsters:

    King Dragun X2

Five-Headed Dragon X1 - Only really in the deck for show not as good as king Dragun. only use if you cant lose and you want to show off!

    Spell Cards:

    Future Fusion X1                    - only 1 allowed

Pot of greed X3                       - Forbidden

    Mage Power X1                      - only 2 allowed

    Scapegoat X1                         - only 1 allowed

    Monster Reborn X3                 - only 1 allowed

Swords of Revealing Light X3   - only 1 allowed

    Card destruction X1                 - only 1 allowed

    Soul Exchange X1

    Pot of Avarice X1

    Mask of the Accursed X1

    Magical Mallet X1

Mystical Space Typhoon X1    - only 1 allowed

    Raigeki X1   - Forbidden

    Polymerization X2

    Creature Swap X1

    Traps:

    Draining Shield X2

    Compulsory Evacuation Device X2

    Magic Drain X1

    Ordeal of a Traveler X2

    Magic Cylinder X1               - only 1 allowed

My tactic is to get King Dragun onto the field as soon as posible and then power him up with mage power to make him almost invincible!
