What is the best a processor or a blender and what is the difference?

I am trying to get a little more on a health kick. I want to make some health drinks....Walgreens has a food processor and a blender for sale. Please tell me what are the differneces and which is best.

  1. A food processor uses a larger blade that is angled and curved. This is best for chopping large things such as cucumber, onion, making bread crumbs, etc. A blender uses a much smaller blade with no angle that stirs and grinds things like soups and smoothies. It really is best to have both, if you are into cooking, but if you can only get one, get a food processor. It can handle both the large, chunky things, as well as small, more liquidey things. My favorite is the CuisineArt. They last forever! You probably won't find this at Walgreens, so for great sales, check Shopzilla.com or Ebay.
