This is a really generic question. It depends on what type of acoustic music you really want to play. In terms of just acoustic guitar + vocals, I would recommend either a Martin or Epihone. The medium-end models of both are rather affordable, just a few hundred dollars. They also are pretty durable (I've had mine for the past 5 years) and have a great tone.

The PRS prototype, i hear it has a tone that is so out of this world, they only made 2 so far, one just sold for about $200,000
