DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND CALL AND ASK AROUND. GET SOME SUGGESTIONS AND MAKE RESERVATIONS. IF YOU ARE DRIVING, DO A DOWNTOWN TOUR AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO PARK AND HOW YOU WILL GET TO YOUR RESTAURANT OF CHOICE. ALMOST EVERYONE IS VERY BUSY ON PROM NIGHT, SO PLAN AHEAD!

ITALIAN: olive garden, cafe milano, sbarro, lorenzos, naples italian restaurant

Italian...I think that the Spaghetti Warehouse on E. Houston street just a block or two outside of downtown is better. Now for Mexican you could do Pico de Gallo or Mi Tierra. Parking is good for those places but good luck finding parking right downtown, especially if you don't mind walking downtown at night....ooooh toooo scary.
