What is the best affordable running shoe?

I am a college soccer player and am looking for a quality shoe on a college budget. I have to run quite often, usually 2-4 miles.

It is really easy to find affordable running shoes. Since each brand of running shoe usually comes out with a new model every year, stores will have the older models still in stock if they didn't sell them all. They will mark them down quite a bit once the newer model comes out. If I was to pick a brand of running shoe that I have found to be the best, I would pick Brooks. They are on the more expensive side, but if you find an older model they will be marked down a lot. They are great for longer distances and would be perfect for the mileage you would be running. Brooks also has a shoe for every foot type so you wouldn't be limited.

If you don't like Brooks or are unable to find a cheap pair here are some other brands that usually have a decent quality to them and are less expensive.

Nike, New Balance, Asics, and Saucony.

I suggest Under Armour, they came out with a new shoe. It runs for about 70 dollars. But the most affordable are New Balance, check them out.

Adidas or Puma they always have great arch support and are very lightweight making it more comfortable for running
