  1. Unless your going to have more then 2 then have them close in age because when the older one leaves home it is not nice for the younger one.

My brother is moving out soon. He's only 20 :-(

  2. There's no real "best" age difference, but in my experiences siblings who are spaced closely together get along better.

I have a sister five years older than me, and we can't stand each other.  This isn't really consistent, though -- my friend has a sister the same age as mine, and they get along fairly well.  Two of my friends are sisters, spaced a year apart, and they get along well.

I'm not exactly sure if age is a factor in this, though.  My sister and I don't have anything in common, but my other friends share so many likes with their siblings.  Maybe it's just a matter of that and not age difference?

  3. Well, i have got a little brother and a little sister. My brother is just over a year younger then me and my sister is over 5 years younger. I get on with both of them well. Although, i do tend to spend a lot more time with my brother then i do with my sister, but that is not necessarily down to age. I think gender plays a part in it too. As far as i am concerned, there is no " best age difference " it is going to vary from family to family and from person to person.

  4. I plan on spacing mine about 2 years apart.

I grew up with a sister that was 5 years older and a brother that was 7 years older, and it was annoying, by the time I was 8 my sister was a teenager and had more important things to do. I want my kids to be able to play together.

  5. My oldest in 9, and my youngest is 2. I have two in between that are 4 and 6. So, I would 2 to 3 years

  6. i would say 3 years

  7. 2 or 3
