  1. Allot of people say two, but I say when your baby girl is ready. You never know when your baby is ready unless you go buy a potty and they want to sit on it. My brother is two and a half and only sits on the potty. My sister was potty trained around two, but then had a seizure. Then she stopped. Then started, then had another one, and stopped. By three and a half she was fully trained. Hope I helped!

  2. Ask BKAdvice 2008 they know the answer to everything they really helped me..... (this is the email address that gets you directly to the CEO of the company) bhriean.r.walker@gmail.com

  3. when she can tell u i went pee. my mom does daycare has for all of my life. she says when they know that they have gone pee that is when u need to start and keep it happy about it. keep potty time fun. give praise when she does go. but if u take too long they wont want to do it. i know alot of moms and dads that just do it half way and it hurts the kid more in learning so if u start u need to do it all the way. and if she doesnt get it in like a month or three weeks take a break and try again in two weeks or so.

  4. Start when she begins to display potty readiness:

Wants diaper changed right away - may even tell you she is about to go in the diaper

Goes to a corner or another room to p**p in the diaper (indicates wanting privacy)

Interest in following you into the bathroom when you are going

Can understand/communicate bathroom words (potty, peepee, etc.)

    Can follow simple directions

    Can pull pants off/on

Stays dry for at least 2 hours and/or wakes up dry after nap

Most kids show readiness anywhere from 18 months - 3 years, though occasionally a bit earlier or later :)

  5. Try to do it now to 24 months of age

  6. When they are ready....when she can stay dry for 2 hrs, communicate she has to potty, pull her pants up and down and isn't terrified of the potty then she may be ready to start trying.  Average for a girl is 2 1/2- 3 years old average for a boy is 3 1/2 - 4 years.

  7. Between the ages 18 months and 2.5 yrs you should start to urge them to use the potty or as soon as they show intrest or you notice that they iknow when they need to use the bathroom

  8. between 2 and 3 years my daughter started when she was 2 and she is now 3 and is completly potty trained it took a while and you have to be patient but she will get it.

  9. If she is interested, then that's great!  Just start taking her to the potty every hour.  Then explain that she should tell you when she has to go.  Start a sticker chart.  Pullups.com has some free ones you can print out.  She will get a kick out of getting a sticker every time she is dry and goes potty!  Good luck!

  10. I know it's old news, but it's different for every child. My daughter became interested in it at 18 mos. but didn't get serious about it until she turned 2. It's been almost 2 months since she turned 2 and she has it down already. Just encourage her to try it but don't push it. As soon as I stopped pushing my daughter to potty train she decided to do it on her own. Always reward her for every attempt, even if she doesn't actually go. Rewards are a big part of making your child comfortable and confident. Good luck. Hope I helped.
