  1. air asia... asia no 1 low cost airliner... malaysia airlines also!!! both airliners won many awards globally!

  2. I always went with United for the best prices in my area, and had excellent service each time.

  3. British Airways

  4. Answering your question requires a question to be asked:

Does the airline of my choice fly to where I want to go?.

You elect Delta, but I cannot get a Delta service where I am, and their service to Asia is pretty much non-existent.  Plus, unlike Qantas, it has been bankrupt.

I cannot trust an airline that will fly me somewhere, and might have issues flying me back!

  5. quantas

  6. Last year I worked for a company that had me traveling every other week from Coast to Coast.  I bought my tickets on line - hunting out the lowest fair, becuse of this I had the opportunity to fly a great number of airlines, and in my opinion the top 3 are:

    1) Jet Blue - they offer good service, offering things like free TV and refreshments.

    2) Frontier - they have a newer fleet of Airbus, have TV (although it is $5) and still offer you refreshments and service.

    3) Southwest - although I feel a little like hearded cattle, they are an efficent and well run operation and get you to your destination on time in reasonable comfort.

I have a real problem with companies charging for baggage, like American, Delta, and US Airways (US Airways now even charges for WATER - what is next? a fee to use the restroom?)

When you look on line for pricing and see that American, Delta, US Airways, etc is cheaper by $35 bucks remenber they offer little to know SERVICES, and that $35 dollar savings will be charged to you anyways in baggage fees.

As for United / TED I absolute hate them!  I can not think and this goes back a few years of a good experience.  I even remenber one of their employees told me once - she did not care - her salary and benefits have been cut and to offer me any kind of service was just not going to happen.

Out of the last 4 flights I took on United 3 of them where delayed - one by 4 hours - (only good news was I was in Vegas and won like a hundred dollars on a slot machine in the terminal while waiting)

  7. Singapore Airlines is the best by far.

  8. Southwest Airlines: Never Loses Bags, Low Fares, They Dont Always make You Connect in their hubs, great flight attendants, and their committed

  9. I would say Emirates or Etihad Airways.

  10. QANTAS and British airways

  11. Etihad Airways hands down.

  12. well i kinda depends on where u want to fly like southwest and jetblue are good for the united states but like delta and us airways are good for flying out of the united states

  13. Air Jamaica!!! talk about quality.  but i mostly travel on spirit, dnt really like it but its cheaper..... :)

  14. OMG, i luv delta 2 but it aparantly means

    D-dont

    E-expect

    L-lugage

    T-to

    A-arrive

but mine came back, so did everybody elses!!

  15. Cathay Pacific is the best.  It got the best airline of the year for many times.  Also, the food and service is good.

Its doesn't lose luggage, at least i didn't...

  16. 1- FinnAir

    2- Lufthansa

    3- Czech Airlines

    4- LOT

  17. Southwest & Jet Blue

  18. 1)British Airways

    2)Singapore

  19. Singapore Airlines and Qantas has some of the best safety records!

  20. Well, the answer like a lot of things is "it depends".

If you ask most road warriors who have equal exposure to both domestic U.S. and international travel they will almost all indicate that the international carriers trounce their American counterparts in terms of service.

Based on completely un-scientific feedback, the most oft-cited international carriers are Singapore, Emirates, Cathay Pacific and Etihad.  And yes, there is a trend in that it appears both Asian and Middle East-based carriers are leading the way.  Also keep your eye on two lesser-known, but well-capitalized Indian carriers, Jet Airways and Kingfisher.

In terms of domestic U.S. carriers, Continental routinely wins the best service award among the larger carriers while Virgin America, a relatively new San Francisco-based airline, has now earned several low-cost carrier awards displacing previous favorites JetBlue and Southwest.

  21. For domestic  Delta and Continental are probably my favorite. For international I liked Air France.
