What is the best airline to fly as a minor and any tips?

I am probably flying from Columbia, SC or Charlotte NC to New York, NY for an academic program there Do yall have any tips?

I will be 14 at the time

I would recommend US Airways.

Southwest does not service Columbia, SC.
