You're going to need to be more specific on your origin and destination...someone could give you the recommendation of an airline that doesn't fly where you want to go.

That said, my opinion is that Midwest Airlines does the best job with transporting animals, both in the cabin and down below in the cargo compartment.

One airline is basically the same as the next with pets.  The pet goes in an airline approved crate (you provide it), the crate goes into pressurized cargo hold, and it usually lives.

The airline is not responsible for lost pets or for pets that die while in transport.
