  1. If you're actually wondering to know which airport is the best to catch sight of Eiffel Tower from the plane before landing or after taking off,   you will have to be lucky.

It's sometimes happening, but it's not often.

From Orly or Roissy, it's possible to see Eiffel Tower, but only if the plane have to go by a roundabout way over Paris West side .

And I don't know flight programm according to airlines, weather conditions, time, etc...

    .

  2. Le Bourget is the closest airport but reserved for private jets ( have you got a private jet or do you know a friend who got one ?) . Roissy Charles De Gaulle (CDG ) or Orly are quite equivalent . If you search a flight on internet just indicate Paris . (ORY or CDG) .

  3. orly is closer than charles de gaule...but they are both outside of the city

+ orly is smaller and more of a domestic airport so most flights arriving into paris will be arriving at cdg

    bon voyage ^.^

  4. Its not likely that, if you are flying directly from Knoxville, you will have much choice.

In any case, none of the three airports which serve Paris is particularly close to the Eiffel Tower. In each case you will have a train or bus ride into the city so the exact distance to the Eiffel tower is not relevant.
