What is the best alkaline battery brand?

im looking to bu batteries and i need to get the most outta my buck. so im wandering what is truthfully the best alkaline battery brand? duracell, energizer, panasonic, etc... what is the longest lasting in store battery??? thank you

Duracell and Energizer last a long time. I always choose them before anything else.

Duracell seems to work longer in cameras etc

I now use rechargeable batteries by energizer and love them....don't have to buy them anymore!

I like duracell, because apparently firefighters use it for all their most important equipment and if youre a firefighter, having a flashlight is very crucial

Pulled this up for ya....They are in order of the best,go to consumer reports to get the specs on these it wouldn't copy for me....
