My girlfriend and I are looking to spend our 1 year anniversary there. We are in our mid 20's and we want to have a relaxing romantic time but at the same time 1 or 2 nights go out and have a good time. What do you suggest?

  1. I've stayed there at the Melia Cabo Real, which is Los Cabos Area. Is really nice place to stay. Is quiet and calm, the building is quite new,  it has one of the few beaches on the area, and is an all inclusive spa, so u can get a good offer. The food is excelent as I remember, and I would say the best is the jacuzzi which is located to see the sunset meanwhile you and your girl drink something....

  3. Hola.  I live in Cabo and have been in and out of all the resorts in this area.  I know them quite well!!

If you would rather have a relaxing romantic time, then I would suggest the more quaint area of San Jose del Cabo - it is closer to the airport, but about 20 minutes from CSL.  There are several  4-5 star all inclusives that cater to more older couples 30's 40's 50's.  The first being the Crowne Plaza, then the Royal Solaris, then the El Presidente.  The Mayan Palace just opened and I haven't heard anything really great yet.  So did the Costa Azul, so I'm not willing to comment yet.  SJD is a lovely little town, has great shopping and good for walking about.  You can also take a bus or taxi down to CSL to sightsee or party it up at the crazy bars any time you want.  SJD doesn't really have any entertainment except at the resorts - we have one bar in town that has live entertainment occasionally.

Most people prefer to stay in CSL because thats where all the action is and they want to avoid taxi/bus.  If this is you, then maybe consider the Melia CSL or the Riu Palace.

There are plenty more resorts to pick from in the area between the two towns (we call this area the cooridor) I often hear from couples who rant and rave about Dreams or the Marquis.  Both are definately more expensive but completely cater to newlyweds.  If you want to pamper your new wife, then try these.  Again, taxis/buses are the issue because they are still about 10-20 minutes out of CSL.

    Have a lovely holiday!!
