  1. Any 1000 watt amp will do

  2. The amplifier designed to run these subs is the Rockford Fosgate P1000.1db  It will EASILY push 1000w RMS at 12.7v into 1Ohm, however, knowing fosgate, it will mostly likely push even more.  I've seen some of their amps rated for 1000w push 1300w rms running on 13.7v.  The only downside is that it is an expensive amp.  Usually $500~$700 depending on who you're buying it from.

A little cheaper alternative is to buy 2 500w Amps, and run each sub of it's own amp at 2Ohms.

The Alpine MRP-M500 and Kenwood 8104D are both good amps that will run 500w RMS at 2ohms, which will perfect for what you need.  The only downside side is that you will need to pick up a fused distrobution block to run 2 amps.  Each goes for $150~$230 per amp, but it's still cheaper than the Fosgate.

~NOTE: If you go with the Fosgate amp, getting it installed at BestBuy with the Fosgate Wiring will add a year onto the Manufacture Warranty.

  3. lolol anytime you turn the bass k**b up, it'll get louder. turn it up TOO high and bye bye speakers.

anyhow...yes any 1000 watt @ 1ohm CEA compliant amp is what i'd recommend. run both subs in parallel for a 1 ohm load, and each speaker will see 500 watts.

  4. i know will be perfect because i had the same setup. rockford fosgate t1001. being that ur subs are 4ohm dvc, that rockford can be ran at 1ohm. and its pretty clean for a mono amplifier. one thing i like about a rockford amplifier with rockford subs, the more you turn the bass k**b, the louder it will get. not too many subs can handle punch bass. but thats what i would recommend.
