I just watched the "Lost Boys 2" and it was pretty bad

I actually thought the Blade movies weren't too bad; could have been better, but Blade is a Marvel comics character and literally helped Marvel Studios decide to launch more movies based on their characters.  I digress, but the best I've seen have been:

30 Days of Night--excellent movie

Near Dark

Interview With The Vampire

Shadow of The Vampire (not your average vampire movie)

Lost Boys

The Hammer Films Dracula movies

The original Dracula with Bela Lugosi

From Dusk 'Til Dawn

Nosferatu (the original)

In the middle:  The Blade Trilogy, Bram Stoker's Dracula (Gary Oldman STOLE that movie, but everyone else was awful...even Anthony Hopkins), Dracula 2000.

The Worst:

Conversely, the "sequel" to John Carpenter's Vampires, starring Jon Bon Jovi.  I couldn't watch more than 5 minutes of it.  Very disappointing.

Dark Town.

The Bloodletting.

Underworld movies.

Best:  Lost Boys would rank right up there.  Otherwise I'd say Love at First Bite with George Hamilton and Susan St. James.  Or the one with Jim Carey and Lauren Hutton.
