What is the best and cheapest way to go to Niagra Falls from Winnipeg?

I am visiting Winnipeg for some office work. I want to visit Niagra Falls during the weekend. Can anyone suggest the best and cheapest way.

Fly to YYZ (Toronto) & drive down to Niagra

Winnipeg is a long way from Niagara Falls.

Fastest would be fly to Toronto or Hamilton (is closer) or maybe even into Niagara Falls (very small airplane), then rent a car and drive the rest of the way.

Cheapest would be by bus, but it would take you at least 2 days to just get there.
