  1. You can hire a steamer or there is a new product out now that you paint over the wallpaper .It works great. It is like a thick undercoat base exspecially for going over wallpaper.Talk to a hardware or paint shop and they should be able to help you out.I live in Australia and I purchased it from Bunnings.

  2. Lowes carries this product called Dif. It will be in the paint section. It is really good if you use it right. You will want to spray it on and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. try and work the paper loose if you have problems with it tearing then re-apply the dif and wait again. If this is old paper then it will take alot more time and work. If you use a scouring tool and you have drywall under it it will also tear the paper loose on the drywall then you will have to re-drywall. Good luck.

  3. I had hideous, too.  It took a month of trial and error.  Those rolly things with teeth don't work.  We found that fabric softener applied liberally and a good metal scraper worked best.  There were 3 layers in my room!

  4. Hire a steamer from a tool hire shop

  5. I took a spray bottle with fabric softener.  Spray it on the wall paper let it sit in for a few minutes and then scrap it off, it will come off really easy.

  6. i have heard windex works wonders. soak the paper in windex. it has something to do with being a glue solvent. but only do this if everyone else's ideas fail. that way i'm good for a last resort, and i don't get blamed for a dumb idea on the chance it doesn't work.
