What is the best and easiest way to wash camper cushions?

I just bought a pop-up camper I would like to wash the cushions. I really would like to throw the covers in the washer and then hang dry. Is this safe or should I do it some other way?

put them on a gentle wash

a couple at a time so the weight does not wreck the drum in your machine

hang dry, but inside out so they don't get fade marks from the sun
