Honesty...either 1) you have other pants/jeans that look better on you or 2) no, it looks fine

#1 is an alternative to saying 'yes' even if the garment does cause the person's butt to look large. Since they almost always have some other garment that is more flattering, it shouldn't be untruthful to let them know that what they have on isn't the best choice if they want their posterior to appear smaller.
