What is the best area of Dallas and its suburbs for families?

My husband may be getting transferred to the main office, which is in Plano. We have three kids, so top priorities are a good, clean, safe neighborhood and good schools. It'd also be nice if he didn't have to commute too long. From what I've seen so far online, the Plano area is nice, but it'd be nice to hear from someone who lives in the area. Thanks!

Plano is a nice area, very good school system.  Frisco is just only North of Plano which is very nice too.  Good luck on your move.
