Dar M'Nehbi: Late 13th Century palace which has been converted into a museum. Great bookshop there too.

Dar Si Said:  Moroccan arts exibit. Collections of Berber jewellery and weapons from 16th century

Jardin Majorelle: Tropical garden created in mid 1920's by  french orientalist. Beautiful.

Palais el badi:  Palace ruins, vast in courtyard. Impressive.

Take a walk around without a guide book. Get lost in the markets. Thats the best part about Morocco. The culture and vibe on the streets.

there will be so many wannabe guides after you that it will be hard for you to control where you will indeed go..  practice saying NO,   leave me alone  ,  go away, IN FRENCH..  you'll need it..    do some searching for marrakesh on the internet, that will tell you what to go visit..
