What is the best area to live in France for low humidity and low pollution .?

Hello I am current considering relocating to France and have trawelled the net trying to find the answer to this question . I am particularly sensitive to damp and wanted to find out the best area in France that has firstly the lowest average humidity and also low pollution . I cannot afford to live in the sunny Cannes area of South of France but am looking for any other areas that can provide a dry environment .THANKYOU

The south west is nice apart from all the French.

Stay away from the coastal regions of France, any where the is ocean, sea or lakes you will have more humidity.  For the pollution question I would stay out of the major cities and head for the mountains.  good luck
