Question:

What is the best baby carrier?

I was given a baby carrier for my shower, but my son hates it (It is one that has him facing into my chest). He is always trying to turn his head to look around. I know they make some that have the baby facing out, and I have also seen back carriers. Which ones are the best? Any brand suggestions? Thank you!

  1. The baby bjourn lets you have them face you or face out.  My son loved this one!  My sister-in-law loved the Mei Tai wrap.  It's just a long piece of stretchy fabric, and you can have your baby in multiple positions (depending on how you tie it).  Plus you can just fold it up and put it in your diaper bag.  She would put it on before she got in the car, so it would be ready when she got to the store.  (You probably don't want to be fumbling around with it in the parking lot with a crying baby).

    go to www.theslingstation.com

They carry just about anything you can think of, so you can look them over and decide for yourself!

    Good luck!

  2. It all depends, some of them you can do both face them in and out, but my son didnt like it at first but it is so easy to nurse them in those if you are walking around and being so discret about it, they have those ones you can also use like a wrap which i dont feel i trust, just go to babies r us and you can try on different ones, with him in it give it a try...

  3. I have one of the ones that wraps around you it is a sling. I love it and I feel that my son is very secure in it. However it is so hard to get him in it. He is only 8 weeks old and because he cannot hold his head up it just makes things hard.
