  1. Probably croakers.

Croaker eat redfish eggs so redfish eat croakers to keep them from eating their eggs.  Redfish eggs are tiny and red so put a red bead above your hook.  Good Luck!!!

  2. big chunks of cut mullet are great i have seen men taking them out weighing around 35-60 lbs.(use the biggest mullet live or fresh dead and cut into big chunks)

  3. Depends on where you are fishing, during the spring or fall run in the surf, I have always had my best luck with dead finger mullet fished on a fish finder rig (this is mainly when I fish on the Ga. coast).  In Fla. in the passes, live crab, live pinfish, live finger mullet, just about anything live fished in the pass when the current is running.  I have caught some of my nicest florida bull reds in the surf when I was fishing for pompano using live "sand fleas" or mole crabs.  Just about any bait that is live or fresh will work with bull reds, the problem with cut or dead bait is the crabs getting it before the reds do (except in the Ga. surf for some reason, off course the surf is a good bit rougher than where I fish in Fla. though.)

  4. i always had good luck with pin fish and bull minnows . live bait is the key to catching reds ,you won`t catch anything with dead bait

  5. live croker or crab.

  6. There is no "best bait", but peeler crabs, live or dead shrimp and small croakers are all deadly at times.  Ask a few bait shops what they are biting they will probably be helpful because it is there job to sell bait.
