  1. Well i suppose there isnt one really to be fair, our freedom, real freedom commands that we let our security services & other agencies have free rein.

  2. Hmmm well that's a tough question.  Firstly its important to note that London is the most highly monitored city in the world with millions of CCTV cameras watching most streets.  Is this for security or to take away their freedom?? Would any Londoners argue for either? Or do they just accept the cameras are there?

I don't think there's balance or a measurable scale.  Every second of the day would change the scale with every criminal act such as violence or robbery or even terrorism.  Its clear that we (western society) are among the most free in the world as well as the most secure and personally i don't think one over shadows another.  However some would disagree with me.

I guess there is no right answer other than science cannot create a scale unless it can measure every individuals view on the planet of whether they feel free or secure in their environment at any given time.

  3. Both of the choices you present are abstract and are perceived differently in each of us.  Freedom is a delusion.  Security is feeling a state of satisfaction.   I feel free because I have worked hard to achieve my sense of security.  These two variables are incapable of being evaluated in other than philosophical sciences, and these are part of the humanities departmant

  4. Both are impossible from a practical viewpoint, as theoretic concepts they have a lot of appeal but in the real world they do not exist.

  5. relaxe you got it. i've been lived in russia for 21 year and i know what i am talk!

  6. depends on how you feel about both.

  7. no, sadly there is no  *inbetween*, i know its sad, but its just the way the human mind functions, we need security, but we *think* we need freedom.

unfortunatly, we cannot handle freedome on its own, we need guidance, somone to show us right from wrong, because without a higher power, we lose all sence of morals and responsibilyty needed to survive>

(by the way i dont belive in god, i realy dont think the mere thought of a greater being could keep us all in check, we need a solid figure like the government, police ect.)

  8. freedom equals loneliness.  security equals responsibilities.

  9. Having a close relationship with God Almighty, Creator of the heavens and the earth.

    Is Psychology your religion?

  10. Freedom always should win out. Without freedom there is no security. Why? Because then there is no reason to have security.

Freedom has 3 legs police, military, and the people. Almost always people will attempt to gain freedom but the military and police will put down those who disagree. Freedom occurs when the will of the people is to much and police and military refuse to act or join the people in the march for freedom.

Why is it freedom? Because government is no longer able to function. Now through the will of the people freedoms that have long been ignored and deprived freedom can be granted.

  11. s*x!
