What is the best bandwidth download limit for Ares?

use dslreports.com for reports

Well, it depends on the speed of your modem, if it is slow, put maybe 20-50% bandwidth total in ares, meaning 30% downloading and 20% uploading, or better yet, all to downloading and nothing to upload.

If you have a fast modem, then max it out.  bandwidth does not really slow down the computer.  it just hogs your connection.
