That has a great atmosphere, not too busy, comfortable seats, good food and cocktails and reasonably priced?

  1. DONT go to the west end ie Leicster square, Piccadilly, soho, oxford street, as everyone else seems to have suggested  unless:

    A) You're a tourist who wants to get ripped off

    B) You're 17 and get excited by lots of bright lights

    C) You're from essex

    D) You're from up north and know nothing about london other than the west end.

As a REAL londoner I suggest you try Hampstead - the holly bush pub (Amazing views of London), Windows of the World (on the top floor of the Hilton Hotel in Mayfair - again amazing views), Farringdon has loads of cool bars ie Fluid, Butchers Hook.

For really expensive trendy ones try Sketch, Pangea, The Met Bar, the Lonsdale and the Sanderson (but you probably wont get into any of them).

    Have a great night tho!

  2. thats a hard question, londons like a small country lol erm i personally like all bar one & yates in leiscestr sq

  3. I can only answer out of the bars I have been to, and given the number of bars in London I could never visit them all, but the best cocktails I have had are in Lab Bar on Old Compton in Soho.

The place is great during the week after work, but a bit rammed on weekends

  4. We went to the Longacre last week, we hired a booth and it was great, it was nice to get a round table with round seating so everyone called to each other.

Not too expensive either, if you go to Leicester Square tube, come out and its on your left - you can't miss it.

    Enjoy!

  5. The Worlds End, in Camden Town

  6. Candy Bar - well it is if you are a L*****n (like me) anyway!

  7. All Bar One, Leicester Sq.

    Strawberry Moons, Soho

    Yates', Leicester Sq

    La Taska, Covent Garden

    Henry's Cocktail Bar, Covent Garden

    Oxygen, Leicester Sq.

    Napoleon's Casino, Leicester Sq.

    Punch & Judy

Try a pub crawl but these are 22-45

Not all serve food but are good drinking bars.

  8. A city the size of london do you really expect to get a clear cut answer

  9. You didn't mention a particular area of London, but I know a bar in the Leicester Square area called the Zoo Bar.  Its down a small road called Bear Street and does lovely cocktails. I'm sure that in the summertime it is open in the afternoon and cocktails are cheaper then. Might be best to find it on a map, well worth a visit.

Im not sure that the Zoo Bar serves food, but you have always have Yates which is right in Leicester Square.
