What is the best basketball position for me?

i like to run up and get the ball from people , but i don't jump really high...only like 8 inches. i am also good at aiming the basketball. I really want to play basketball and i hope i can get the best position for me!

Since you like to run and get the ball from people, I say the best position is SF. That way a PG can free you up to do whatever you want to do offensively and you can be the finisher. But it depends on how tall you are.

well it depends on how tall you are, how old you are, what copetition level you are in, how well you handle the ball, and how fast you are

You sound more like a defensive player, how good is your shot? Depending on your height, I would say small forward.

PF depending on how tall you are....with an 8 inch vert it doesn't sound like you move your feet fast ....get strong and stay on the blocks

you should play guard because if you can aim the ball well you can set up your teammates

I play ball competitvely and I'm 14. Listen, To me it sounds as if you are more of an SG. I know you can run and stuff, but consdiering you dont have that great of hops the SF wouldnt be a good position for you as you need to get to the basket more. You like aiming the ball, that makes me think that you can shoot it. So shooting guard seems liek a good position. This way, yuo can put it on the floor since you like to run, but u can also square up for the J. youd be a tuff player to guard if you keep working at it. DONT LOSE YOUR LOVE IN RUNNING, and continue to work on your shot. SG is a great position for you.
