well you should go to texas if you want some real bbq. I haven't been to NE, however if they have a Dickeys BBQ , that is the best I have ever had in Texas.

A little place called McKennas Blues, Booze & BBQ. GREAT BBQ and all other food.  They have live entertainment on the weekends.  Not a fancy place though...but a fun little restaurant.  7425 Pacific St

I'm originally from Lincoln, and one of my favorite places there was a place called Skeeter Barne's.  Does Omaha have those?  You should definitely look them up.... Or next time you're in Lincoln, head to 56th and Hwy. 2!  Be sure to get their mashed sweet potatoes and maple sauce.... To die for.
