  1. I would say if you can hit with power get an accurate racket, same if u have muscles. If you hit it down the line get a more powerful racket.

I say liquidmetal 8 made by Head, though i think it's 120 from Sports Authority. If to powerful, tell the person who restrings it to put in a more accurate score

  2. The best racquet out there that is for beginners is the Wilson [K] One. Here are some attributes

    Head size: 122"

    Strung weight: 9.4 oz.

    Length: 27.5"

    String pattern 16x19

    Strung Balance 11 pts. HH

    Cross Section: 30mm

    Grip sizes: 0-5

    It's available with

    [K]arophite Black

    [K]onnector

    [K]ompact Center

    [K]ontour Yoke

    Double Hole

The flagship of the [K] Factor line loaded with all the latest technological features including the exclusive [K]onnector system. The [K] One is the first racquet of its kind to bring maximum power with a great combination of [K]ontrol and forgiveness in an extra-light frame. Producing explosive shots with unmatched [K]ontrol, the [K] One is an almost unfair advantage on the court!

  3. 1. Head Liquidmetal 4

This racquet plays really well at all levels actually. When I started out a while ago, my doubles partner used that racquet and every so often I'd play with it. It's in that price range and can be found at any regular sports shop like Sports Authourity or d**k's Sporting Goods. It is an older racquet kinda (Metallix is the current series Head is trying to push) but it still plays well.

    2. Wilson Ncode series

This too is an older series (Wilson is trying to push the K Series now) but it's what my coach played with. When a kid would forget their racquet, they'd use that one. It's kinda bland in serving (I thought) but the groundstrokes seem to be smooth. I'm sure you can find one in that price range

    3. Prince Triple Threat

I am loyal to Prince and have played with a Prince racquet for about five years now. The Triple Threat Hornet was my first racquet and my brother's first racquet. I had an undefeated High School season with this racquet, but it's mostly a customizable one. You have to custom it to your game in order for it to be useful.

    =] Hope that helped

  4. Anything will work really. If you're just starting, the biggest thing is to learn what you are doing. The type of raquet is less important than practricing.

  5. i think the Head Liquidmetal 4 is quite good (i use this racquet now). also the Head Liquidmetal 8 or Wilson K Factor K One (a bit large headsize). i'd also suggest Head Flexpoint 6 and Head Metallix 6. i think they (Head's with Swing style index S6 racquets) are quite suitable for beginners with short and compact strokes. hope it helps :)
