Websites, books, and videos are all decent ways to learn about billiards but there really is no substitute for a qualified instructor.  Go to the BCA website (www.bca-pool.com) and in the left hand column, go to "play", then look under "instruction" for a list of certified instructors in your area.  As you will see, there are instructors just about everywhere in America.  Sorry if I only half-answered your question.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee

  3. This is not the best site for instructions but has alot of stuff you can learn. Also you can increase your eagernes to learn the game by watching the trick shots. Trust me you will love it!! Its not all in english but you will see stuff that you recognise.
