What is the best board game??

Question

I realized that whenever we are bored, we have nothing else to do besides watching tv. I was wondering if there's a good board game that won't be boring even if you play it everyday. Any ideas??

Yahtzee, Scrabble, Monopoly, Sorry, Connect Four, jigsaw puzzles (get one with 5000 pieces, that will take you a few days to put together,) um...Trivial Pursuit. Etc, etc, etc.

Swarm is a great new abstract strategy game.  Easy to learn with only one piece like checkers, but different spaces allow you to stack and unstack your pieces for more power.  Different boards will be available which will add different spaces and change the strategies.  Like chess and checkers, no two games will be the same.  Currently there are 2, 3, and 6 player boards available.  More info can be found at the links given.  There will be a Swarm tournament at the PentaCon convention in Fort Wayne IN on Nov 7th, and 8th.

Apples to Apples. Omg that game is so much fun. And its easy to learn and can get a lot of laughs out.

Personally my favorite is a game called Apples to Apples. It's great to play with family and friends. And some of the answers given are downright hilarious. You should look it up.

If you like word games, Scrabble is never boring.  Every game is different.  Also consider Mancala, chess, Trivial Pursuit, Taboo, Apples to Apples, Cranium and Life.

Got to agree with the Apples to Apples people, along with Mad Gab.  I also find 1313 Dead End Drive fun for a kid's game.  Another one to check out is Atmosfear, which, against what it may imply, is hilarious.
