I am restoring a 1965 porsche 912 and I am having a tough time choosing a filler. I have used in the past Feather-right but that is just for practice. I want to know what is the best. Best stick, few or no pin holes etc.

  1. The best body repair uses filler just to blend the seams where you installed new steel parts. Back in 1970 I used to hate to see a 912 come into the shop. under powered compared to the 911 with dirty air heating it always smelled like burning oil inside those cars.  First Year 912 might be rare enough now to justify restoration like your undertaking. Rust never sleeps around the battery boxes floor pans make to sure to do a body off floor pan de-rust complete job and refasten the clutch cable tube and shifter rod mounts. You'll just have to see the paint and body supply and ask what bondo works best for your application. I hope your car was dry all it's life and you can make all the lighting work again.
