It would be great if it had some practice tests in it. I am aiming for a 30 on the ACT. Thanks!

  1. The official study packets that your receive with the registration information. This includes a practice test. Other materials are also available at collegeboard.com and on the ACT website. SAT question of the day is a good practice.

  2. barron's were pretty good guides

  3. I dunno about the ACT, but when I took the SAT, I used a book called 'The Official SAT Study Guide.' This helped me make a 1270 on it, and though that score wasn't necessarily best, you have to keep in mind that I was in 7th grade at the time.

  4. Kaplan seems to make the fairest practice exams. Princeton review makes the exams far more difficult, and many other companies don't try to use test style questions consistently. My experience with both programs finds that Kaplan studiers tend to score better than any other test prep. Then again, I work for Kaplan so might just be partial to statistics.
