I am old school and it looks like the old gold standard PPI art series amps are long gone. So what is the best maker of amps these days?

stick with HiFonics- still mking great products and they are from 'our era'.

JL audio makes a very good amp, the 1000/1. it delivers 1000 watts RMS between 11.2-14.0 volts of current and any Ohm load between 1 and 4 ohms. that is unheard of and know one has ever done that before...
