What is the best brand in lcd tv now in the market now ?

what is the best lcd now in the market? some ses sony same ses samsung and some ses sharp coz the panel is made in JAPAN thats y quality is better.becouse im planning to buy 42" but i dont know which one, and also if i dont have HD signal do i go for full hd or hd ready becouse most of the time im gonna be using analog signal only i mean for normal channel only, do i have to go for 100 HZ or 50 HZ instead. pls help..tnx

I just was at circuitcity today looking at lcd tvs. Out of all, i woud say the best picture quality there was the Sonys. However they are rather expensive, so it depends how much u want to spend. Sony if u have the money, if not Sharp isnt bad either.

The best brand LCDs in 40" & 42", for both performance and reliability is Sony Bravia. A little less expensive, but still good quality is the Toshiba Regza followed, perhaps, by Sharp Aquos and Samsung. And you so not need 1080p resolution in this small of a screen unless you have a Blu-ray player with 1080p BRDs. The guy that said Vizio is an idiot or pulling your leg. Vizio is junk!
