  1. I found none of the ant traps to work very well. They ignore it like brussel sprouts. The only to get them is find their colony. Killing worker arts where you see them is futile. Ant colonies always leave a trail back home. Start with outside. Follow the train of ants going back to their colony. You'll usually find their colony in crevises, cracks in concrete and a hole in the dirt. When you find their colony, douse them with insect killer and let it soak. Keep an eye for new colonies once a week.

  2. Forget ant traps; they don't work well.

You can either figure out what kind of ant you have and attack it from there or get some Tempo S/C.  If it's legal in your state.  Stuff works great on every any infestation i"ve tried it on.  Best part is that once its dried it is safe for food prep areas..  like the kitchen.  Lasts for months too.  Just spray it around where they seem to be getting in an no more ants.  Or any other bugs, lol...

    Good luck!

  3. Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle it here and there. The ants will come and pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.

  4. Get some Terro and forget the ant traps.  I have yet to find a kind/flavor that works better than the Terro!

It's a little bottle of poison that you put a few drops into a bottle cap or a jar lid and put it where the ants will find it but away from pets and kids.  The ants will feed on it and take it back to the nest to feed their young and it will kill the entire colony.  Might take a few days but it gets rid of them!

  5. The way I get rid of ants is to go to the hardware store and buy a powder to mix with sugar to kill them. Borax.

Also, ants leave trails, and ammonia (like windex) will erase these trails so other ants won't follow them.

Of course you know the obvious: pick up and dispose the ants you can see, and don't leave any food crumbs out.

If you are not adverse to using a spray like Raid, ant & roach spray (if you have no pets & it isn't on surfaces you use for food) that is an option.

I have read that ants don't like mint, but never tried to see if this is effective.

Hope the ants are gone soon. Once I brought in firewood in the winter and when it thawed out, swarms of army ants poured out and I did the fastest ant stomping dance I have ever done in my life.

  6. MAKE YOUR OWN!

    I LOVE MAKING MY OWN

YOU CAN LEAVE SOMETHING REAL SUGARY OUT AND THEN WATCH FOR ANTS

ONCE ALOT OF ANTS ARE ON TOP OF IT SQIURT POISON AT THEM

AND IF THEY ARE TRING TO LEAVE WITH THE SUGARY ITEM THEN SQUIRT THEM
