What is the best brand of antifreeze??

I need to buy antifreeze for my car but i was wondering what is the best brand? or an ok brand? my car is a 2001 dodge stratus.

You'll need the green antifreeze that they sell, but don't purchase the 50/50 stuff, because your paying for half water, and you can get that free at home.

It really doesn't matter which brand you choose but the type is important. In your glove compartment open your handbook to the specifications page under antifreeze it'll advise you of the specification of antifreeze that should be inside your cooling system.

Personally I've trusted and had great luck with Texaco DexCool, Peak, and Prestone.

Please do not buy pre-mixed antifreeze. It's a pure sales gimmick They charge a dollar less for one gallon pre-mix. You can buy 100% antifreeze for a dollar more and it makes two gallons of antifreeze!!

any name brand is fine just  buy green to go with green or pink to go with pink types matter brand get a name brand
