What is the best brand of winter coat?

I need something affordable, Very Warm( I live In so. dak), it has to have a hood on it , and has to look nice.

north face or spyder. north faces are a bit cheaper and they look really nice, you can get a pretty one for about 150, which is what any good quality, warm coat is going to cost you anyway.

Columbia, or LL Bean (LL Bean coats may cost a little more, but they are lifetime guarantee) - they have different coats for different weather.   I can not say enough about LL Bean coats and their quality.

forget all those fancy smancy coats listed here...just go to Steve and Barry's and get one...they are under 20 bucks

From what I've heard, Columbia or North Face. However, water-proof coats from Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Abercrombie, and Hollister should work just as well (plus, they're fashionable!)

Jackets tend to be more expensive than snow bibs, so find a price that is fashionable and within your spending range!
