  1. Actually, I feed mine frozen bloodworms (I give everybody in the tank the same food--the betta, the corydora catfish, and my teeny-weeny African dwarf frog.)

    Get those if you can.

I use Tetra stuff, like the Aquasafe with the extra slime coat booster stuff in it and filtered water from my faucet filter.

    Tetra's pretty good.

  2. For water conditioner I like NovAqua or Stress Coat. Both have extras to  boost the slime coating. I feed my bettas  Hikari and Aqua Culture pellets, Top Fin freeze dried bloodworms (they LOVE 'em!), Omega One shrimp puffs, and Tetra flakes and chips. Those fish eat better than I do, haha...........

  3. I use top fin color enhancing beta bits for food. They work well=-D

  4. I like to use from Jungle: Start Right it has allantoin for the slime coat and removed any chlorine from the water and it's cheap cause we know we use alot of that stuff!

You can use freeze dried bloodworms once or twice a week, for variety.

I like the hakari(sp) betta bio gold that your using, even the most finicky fish will gobble it up:)
