  1. There is no "best" breed of dog. It just depends on living conditions, the person, and other things like that.

  2. Go to a dog show and talk to the people there and get the info on a lot of different breeds. I've had pure breeds and mixed and loved them all.Size is a big decision to make, how small or big can your dog be.

  3. I'm partial to my pit bull.

The best way to find a breed that will best suit you, is study up!  Be sure to check each breed's pros and cons.

  4. defiantly a cocker spaniel

  5. My favorite is the Pomeranian. They're just so sweet, hilarious, little fluffy bundles of joy.

I love the looks of all Spitz dogs.

  6. Golden Retriever And siberian husky

  7. Mutts. Adopt one from a pound. Best and most intelligiant dog i ever had was from a pound. Second? Pits bulls. Third, Labs. Pitbull labbie mix? Best pet ever.

  8. there is no best dog. it depends upon the person. i think the best dogs are akitas. but thats just me.

  9. I love a Rottweiler, a Pit bull also an Airedale terrier. a Rat terrier,And just a plain old mutt.

are all wonderful dogs with good tempers and they love playing. But that is just me. Every person has a different opinion on what they consider the best breed. You need to look at what you want in a dog and what size and type of dog that will fit in to your life style.

Keep in mind that what works for you know as far as dogs go might not work in the future. Dogs are a 10 plus year commitment. You really need to think about that when you get one.

  10. well its too hard not to say my fave so im gonna, GREAT DANE!

but a good temper and being outside would maybe be a lab, golden, or something.

  11. Best for temper and playing outside? Collies are very protective of their families and love to have a romp outside whenever you want, but they are not entirely dependant on outside activity. It's the family they want to spend time with. When raised with a child, they treat the kid better than their own pups, and will defend the entire family to the death, but are VERY warry of strangers. Not aggressive, but will likely guard the family when a stranger is around. They get annoyed by small children they haven't grown up with also. Would never bite, but the avoid at all costs.

But, if you're looking for something that will chase balls, and love everyone and is super super hyper, get a jack russel terrier. They love anyone who comes through the door, and have so much energy to waste outdoors. ^.^ I love collies more than anything, though. Collies or more like companions than pets, they become part of the family.

  12. For me, it's Japanese Akita's.  I've had so many of them through out my entire adult life.  Excellent companions, wonderful temper with family and kids as well as friends.  And they love to play, play and play, especially in the winter in the snow.

  13. Westie AKA West Highland White Terrier lol. YAY.

Well I'm not only saying this because I have a westie, but he's also very playful and VERY affectionate. Loves to cuddle up aswell.

    Good with kids.

Get's excited at other pets but not in an aggresive way, in a 'I want to play' way.

    Oh, and also very cute.

  14. Find a dog breed book and read up on types of dogs. Some of them have chart for what you are asking for. Encyclopedia of Dog Breeds is a  good one. When you find one you like call a breeder and ask them questions about the breed. I have a husky and he is a good dog but he has to stay on a leash or he will run away. So make sure on what kind of listeners they are and if they will stay with you or come when you call.  Some dogs are better at that then others. It just depend on what you are looking for.  But keep in mind breeds were bred with certain things in mind and jobs. That will also a make a difference in the behavior.

  15. australian shepards, they are very good with kids and other small animals. very tempermental they love to play and swim and really likes to ride.i have seen little ones pulling on my dogs hair which you know would hurt but he does not seem to mind. give it a try they are very smart dogs and great companions, also very easy to train

  16. German Shepherds are highly intelligent dogs.  They are good family dogs and good playmates, although they can have a tendancy to "herd" children even when they are not in danger.

  17. German Shepherds and Labrador Retrievers.  Neither of these breeds are my favorite as you requested:).

  18. ok my life is dogs.  i have wanted a dog for ever but never been able to have one because my mother has an allergy.  i am 19 not so in around 7/8 years i should have my very first dog. i love animals.  the dog that i want is called a leonberger they are beautiful and huge i am getting one with my grans inheritance coz i i told her i love dogs and she knew that.  then later while i still have the leonberger i am going to be getting a mongrel from the rescue centre because mongrels are supposed to be the best kind of dog. hardly any problems with a cross breed

  19. I think that Boxers and Golden Retrievers are the best. Both are known for having wonderful personalities which are compatible with kids, other animals, males, females, the elderly etc. Both are extremely intelligent and highly trainable. They are both very playful and will play until they collapse if you allow it.

  20. I love pit bulls. HOwever if your a first time dog owner, i suggest u DO NOT get one. they are very high energy, and without proper training they can get aggressive.

I would recommend a doberman. They are the most trainable and smartest dogs!!
