What is the best breed of guinea pig to buy?

i'm thinking of buying a guinea pig, and i never saw anything to encourage u to not buy a certain breed of a guinea pig or to more encourage u to a certain breed. wut is the best?

Teddy Bear Guinea Pig.  They are the cutest babies ever and are still cute when they are older.  Look up more breeds online though to find one that suits you.

I raise Teddy and Texel guinea pigs, the teddies are the best BY FAR!!

Really, they're all awesome but if you don't want to have to brush too often I would go with a short haired guinea pig. Other than that, they all are sweet and cute!

There are not 'best breeds'. But the longer hair ones require more maintenance and certain breeds like Satins and teddies are prone to certain illnesses.
