What is the best breed of small dog?

i want a cute but easablie trained oh and also less than $100.00 and also easy to take care of

probably the best dog for you is a boston terrier but all dogs require lots of attention and none are too easy to care for and and I hope your not getting a puppy because they require too much attention and they are more than $200 even in shelters and if you tell me your not ready for a dog instead get a betta fish it is much easier to take care of than any dog

I'm not sure whether they are classified as small dogs, but Cocker Spaniels are adorable. Actually any spaniel is, they are very loyal and companionable. My answer may be biased, being a cocker spaniel owner myself, but they are genuinly very lovable dogs.

As for being easy to care for, it really depends what you mean by easy to care for. All breeds of dog need grooming and excercise. Owning a dog is a big commitment, please don't purchase an animal if you dont have the time and patience to care for it.

My $75 puppy from the pound ended up costing me around $600 with Necessary vet bills and supplies! Dogs cost a lot and you have to remember this!

But, I think the best dog is a Corgi! I have a Corgidor (so cute its a corgi and a lab mix) and he is the best pup ever. He learns things really fast, he is the best size (you can pick him up easily), he does need a lot of exercise, but so do all dogs. The only problem with him is that he barks when people approach our door...but I guess that makes him a good guard dog right? lol

Oh and I got mine at a shelter...I promise mutts are the best dogs.

We used to have a cockapoo and now we have a miniature poodle.  Both are good snugglers.

POMERANIANS they are small and real easy to take care of.I have a pomeranian and chihuahua mix and she is really easy to handle.

A dog costing $100 doesn't exist. The smaller the dog the more they cost to purchase. Unless you adopt a poor little cute mutt from the animal shelter. But in my opinion the best little dog is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are by far the most well mannered and easiest to train. But they cost an average of $2,000.

It might be worth your while to to check out the dogs that are available for adoption at the Refuges. They are all vet checked, immunised, desexed,  and wormed and there will be just the right dog there for you.
