what is the best toys, hut, and cage/cage essentials for a syrian hamster. plus can you fit two hamsters in it?

Hi,the best cage for a 1 syrian would be a wired cage. try to get a 1 ft 2in long cage atleast.You can get these hut for your syrians called "snak hut" they are edible hiding spots for your hammies.You will need a wheel.atleast one hiding spot.A running ball for outside of the cage.and maybe a few tubes for some extra fun.make sure it will be big enough for him/her.Dont gt crittertrail they are for dwarf hamsters.use aspen bedding if u wanna get woodchip bedding.put some kleenex in its cage so he can use it for his bed.they will carry it to the spot he wants.If you want two that's probably bad.syrians are territorial and will fight with eachother.If u really really want to get TWO syrians.Get a really big cage so they have space for eachother.But its a bad risk.they sometimes fight till death.clean there cage once a week.change there water and food every 1-2 days.Its recommended to use distilled water.make sure u don't feed it too much treats.get a wheel that's not wired.sometimes they can get they're feet caught in there.maybe get a shelter for your syrian.It can use the shelter for its bed.Another good bedding is carefresh.(Recycled bedding compacted into bedding.) it comes with a variety of colours.Red,Beige,Light blue.And some others.Hope i helped! good luck ^^

You cant keep two syrians together or they will fight to the death. You should keep any to hamsters together from my opinion.

Syrians can't live together.

So that question is blown out of the water.

But basically, the bigger the better. The cage should have at least on more platform, not just floor level, and contain a wheel, space for food, for a 'bedroom', and a water bottle. Plastic things will get chewed so a wood or ceramic 'bedroom' is best but a plastic wheel is fine.

get a nice fish glass rectangular fish tank for a cage. they are master escape artists and will find their way out in any other cage. for a hut, there are many eatable huts with straw roofs at pet stores. those r the best to get. there are plastic igloos too. for toys, hamster wheels and those rolling hamster balls will do.
