What is the best camera for...?

what is the best camera for pictures such as ones on deviantart, i've heard the Canon EOS 5D is good, has anyone ever used it? are there any cheaper cameras like that one?

you can get cheaper but the quality won't be there. I LOVE my Canon cameras. In my opinion, Kodak are cheaper but they are garbage. The lens quality isn't there. You get what you pay for.

I have the 10D and I LOVE it. I also have a small point & shoot one. It's the quality of the lens that makes a difference.

I got the 10D following a recommendation from a client/friend who is a professional photographer.

Cannons are amazing. Definetly buy a Cannon PowerShot SD750. The screen on it is huge and the graphics are vsry vivid and crisp.

Plus it has amazing features, such as 'Color Swap', which allows you to switch the colors on something. I use it all the time on my friend who has light green eyes. I always give her brown or purple or yellow eyes. And it looks realistic, too. It's pretty awsome.

Another cool feature that the camera has is called 'Color Accent'. This feature allows you to make everything in grey scale (black and white) but single out one color to stay it's origional color. I love it.

It has WAY more features, but I'm typing this from a Wii, so it's too difficult to type the rest, haha.

I have a Canon 40D DSLR, Its a 10 mpx camera, it shoots 6 frames percent. its alot cheaper than the 5D, very reliable camera, ive owned mine for 5 months, its the best investment ive ever bought. good place to buy one is Circut City, cheapest place ive found.

Pretty much any DSLR camera, I think..  That'll let you take high res shots and you can buy different lenses for some cool effects.  I've used a Nikon D40 that I really like.  I trust anything made by Nikon and Canon.
