What is the best camera on the market for photography??

I'm looking for the best camera for photography. Mostly scenery, animals, and occationallly people. I dont want a camera that is going to blur. What is the camera i need??

If you're a beginner looking for a Digital SLR, the Nikon D40 (yes it's a Nikon, not a Canon) is a great choice.  But are you looking for a compact camera, one with interchangeable lenses, etc?  What's your price range- $500, $1000 etc?

The best way to avoid blur is to use a tripod or other form of support, use a high shutter speed and practice holding the camera steady during the exposure.

Photography is more about your technique than your equipment.

"Add details" and tell us your prior experience with cameras and how much you want to spend.  There's no point in telling about the cameras that really ARE the best for $5,000 and much, much more if that's not what you mean by "the best camera on the market."

I think we all looking for a camera that won't blur!  As already noted really need more details to give a good answer.  When you find that camera that won't blur let me know- flash brackets get heavy after 4 hours at weddings and I get tired of lugging around that heavy clunky tripod.

a camera is just a tool. you have to choose the right tool for the job. one camera isnt right for every photo just like one screwdriver isnt right for every s***w.
