  1. canon sd 850is is the best camera,but it has 4x zoom still it remains the best.Hope it will help you thanks.

  3. I would go for the Lumix TZ5 but its 10x zoom and , If you want only 5x then get the Lumix FX500 which is 5x zoom and 10mp. Go to the links below, you will find some good prices on the Lumix FX500 and TZ5.
