  1. I go camping VERY often.  So I know a thing or two about what to eat while camping! ; )  You should bring hot dogs to roast over a fire.  Chocolate, marsh-mellows, and graham crackers for S'mores.  Also, go to the store and look for Hobo Pie makers.  You  can make grilled cheese in them and things like that.  Also, if the kids like buttered noodles or mac and cheese bring them because you can make them over a fire to.  I have done it before and they came out great!  Also, if you family likes chili, brings things to make chili.  I do that every time I go camping!  You can also make regular eggs.  I hope this helped!! =]

  2. Foil meals and dutch oven dinners. Both can be relatively simple, but have many possibilities. Some big hits are always foil burgers and veggies and dutch oven cobbler.

  4. I would just invest in a pack of Dixie paper plates =) Roast hot dogs over the fire, prepare a big bag of trail mix before you go, so that you won't have to make a big meal when everyone's hungry for just a snack. Could you get a small grate and do hamburgers over the fire another night? We would always bring lots of fruit for breakfast. Bananas, apples, pears, peaches - things that don't particularly need refrigerated and don't take any effort to prepare. Dry cereal in baggies is good too. Try bringing sandwhich meat, a loaf of bread, chips, and some pickles for a lunch one day. Veggies like carrots, bell peppers, and onion don't have to be refrigerated and can be cooked with chicken in aluminum foil on a grate over the fire for a good meal! Potatoes and corn on the cob are the same way. Just get creative! =D

  5. If your looking for a nice dessert one night or an afternoon snack, I sometimes go out and pick some berries (If I didn't bring my own).  Bring some Wonton wrappers from the grocery store and if you have a cooler, some Readiwhip.  Powdered sugar is a nice addition as well.

Over the grill, place single Wonton wrappers out and let them crips up.  Once they are crispy, take them off and cool for about a minute.  Then, spray some Readiwhip on them, top with a few berries and then dust with some powdered sugar.

  6. Premade omelettes?   Good lord, how lazy can you get?  Instead of camping, go to a resort and eat out three meals a day.
