I would go for the Nissan Skyline,no matter if it is the GTS or GT-R. Both are powerful yet practical.

  1. I'm partial to the Toyota Camry, and my Nissan Xterra...

  2. YUP...the skyline is a great car but I enjoy my SILVIA SR20DET (visit my profile for car info) ALOT and an EVO IX MR!

  3. NISSAN SKYLINE R35 GTR

  4. IMO, the best car is mine.  The reason:  It works and it is paid for.

  5. Bently! obviously

but my mom has a Range Rover- and its amazing

and my sis has a Audi TT - its cute, but too small

so my fav car is a mercedes CLS 550

  6.   what model R32 R33 ?

      260 Z  WITH RB25 TURBO

  7. The best car is the one you like and it serves your needs.

  8. the Nissan GT-R isn't very piratical and if you can afford THAT, you might as well buy a car like a FQ400 Evo VIII MR which has four seats, very good space and a nice engine to boot

  9. More recent Skyline come as a non turbo single cam non turbo twin cam single turbo and twin turbo.

The non turbo versions are great as they give more mpg a 2.0l engine to a 2.5l engine also being rwd makes them fast for the cars they are also a gt4 version which is awd all this and cheaper insurance. Also they can take tuning and produce that extra bhp, some modders add a small turbo to these engines.

The single turbo version  are great cars the R32 up-to the R34 each other a tunable engine which can meet some impressive bhp figures and being the cheaper option to buy a favourite with tuners Worldwide.

The GTR versions are the Daddies and with figures being false coming from Nissan  due to the 276bhp ruling actual GTR figures are around 330bhp stock and Nissan made the RB engines to take mods so the RB26 will take over 500bhp with stock internals and again the rb25det can run some great bhp figures with the stock internals.

Which is best it depends myself have two children and we often take friends and relatives out so the GTS,GTS-T version has been ideal for us being a 5 seater, running speed as again been ideal with the Skylines needing premium fuel and its low mpg i couldn't run a GTR

and would be wasted on my take kids to school and shopping trips.

The GTR is a awd 4 seater and a beast with loads of power and more to gain, although unless you are in a situation to use the power often then with its running cost etc is it worth it over a single turbo version say.

Boot/trunk space the R33 has a decent space for a monthly shop although with a rear strut bar and the battery as well as the fuse box etc being in there also it does take some room.

The R32 is a bigger Trunk/boot space we filled ours up and rove on a 2000 mile road trip.

The GTS versions are RWD mainly and other great sideways fun even more so in the lighter R32 models.  Also these came as a 2 and 4 door version, and auto and manual boxes, the Skyline auto boxes are great very responsive just a  light touch and the power is away, also with the overdrive rev hold and power button for redline changes all this makes for decent models.

So best depends on the situation the car is going to be used for.to be fair.
