thats what i think the list goes but i'm pretty sure that most ppl will agree alpine in #1 spot,

and Bose not really bose blows when i bought my 350z i told nissan not to put any stereo at all if they are going to put a bose and they didnt and it cost me $400 extra but i think its $400 well spent after i saw the bose on my dads maxima and my moms benz i hated it  its a ***** to install a after market unit with a bose system and sounds horrible

Overall Bose is the best quality for any audio in general, from car speakers to home theater etc. But if you are looking for subs for your car which most people want when they are getting car audio, then I would say that kenwood and alpine are the best

from my experience

Rockford Fosgate for amps

Pioneer for head units

Infiniti for component speakers

I haven't herd any really good subs yet. Sony sucks but they are the best bang for the buck. Kicker subs sounded pretty good but not great

BTW, Bose makes pretty good speakers for home and car audio but they are far from the best.

All-around, I'd have to say Alpine.  They really don't make a mediocore product in any car audio category whatsoever.

Pioneer is a good brand.  I have no complaints.
